Today saw the introduction of a uniquely designed wireless keyboard called the ERGO K860 by Logitech. The brand new ergonomic split keyboard features a special form factor which aims to maximize user comfort in terms of posture, wrist placement, and muscle activity. Logitech claims that the keyboard offers "54% more wrist support and reduces wrist bending by 25%", resulting in a more relaxed and effective user-experience.
Apart from the press release, the Swiss peripheral manufacturer also posted a launch trailer for the ERGO K860 on YouTube. The video provides a better look at its design as compared to images, as the curved nature of the keyboard is portrayed much clearer.
The ERGO K860 utilizes Bluetooth Low Energy technology to connect to either a PC or Mac wirelessly while consuming less power. Alternatively, users can also use a USB dongle to pair the Logitech product with a computer. Logitech recommends users to pair the ERGO K860 with other products in its ergonomic range to achieve maximum levels of efficiency and comfort.
Priced at $129.99, the ergonomic split keyboard is now available for purchase and can be bought through numerous retail outlets or through Logitech"s official website directly.
