Longhorn Smokescreens, Wallpaper and IE Fix

A few days down the line after 3683 leaks it seems we are still further from any truths despite physical evidence of the next generation of Windows installed onto 1000"s of illegal users hard-drives, one might be forced to believe that Microsoft is purposely throwing up smoke screens for whatever reasons and it"s not to "protect" the Alpha build that leaked. Microsoft flatly denied a Windows XP Second Edition, but elsewhere couldn"t rule out a client version of Windows before 2005. I suppose they could call it something other than Windows XP Second Edition, how about Windows 2004?. It seems Microsoft are unwilling (as per usual) to show it"s users a road-map (that doesn"t change excessively every quarter).

Some people haven"t sat on their hands though, from the looks of things over at xBetas they are gearing up for what might be a new leak of build 371X (X being either 6 or 8) they already have a wallpaper that is said to be the default on this newer build. ( Get the new "Bliss" wallpaper ) This rules out the idea that Microsoft are only working on "concept builds".

and for the people that downloaded and installed the Longhorn Alpha they came up with an IE fix to eliminate the crashing while downloading on build 3683 ( grab that here )
