Since its debut trailer at E3 2017, there has been quite a bit of buzz surrounding Dragon Ball FighterZ. The game is beautifully rendered with cel-shaded art and manages to capture the intensity perfectly when it comes to over-the-top battles. Along with the usual band of staple characters like Goku, Vegeta, and others, Bandai Namco has also slowly revealed a roster of characters over the past few months that includes Future Trunks, Piccolo, Krillin, Android 16 through 18, SSGSS Goku, and Vegeta.
While some of the previously announced characters are loved because of their power and style, Yamcha has become a fan favorite over the years due to his comical appearances in the manga and anime, while also being one that rarely contributes any serious muscle when it comes to a battle. Now, it appears that he will be making his official debut in Dragon Ball FighterZ. Despite being fairly weak in the series, the new video shows off a ferocious Yamcha, dolling out tons of damage with some of his signature moves like the Spirit Ball and the Wolf Fang Fist.
If interested, pre-orders for the title are now open, with a standard and "CollectorZ Edition" being made available. The Collector"s Edition will arrive with a few extras like a 7-inch Goku statue with exclusive “Manga Dimension” coloring, a steel book, three art boards, and a special CollectorZ box. Although there isn"t a firm date, the game is set to arrive sometime in 2018.
