Two new Motorola smartphones were spotted listed on UK retailer, Argos" website indicating their imminent launch in the near future.
Back in September, Motorola launched the second generation Moto G, and was expected to launch an LTE version of the device at a later date. Now, it seems that the company will launch a 4G variant of the Moto G as well as the slightly cheaper Moto E.
The Moto G Titan and Moto E Styx have been revealed to be the names of the currently unannounced smartphones which are just 4G LTE variants of the second generation Moto G and the Moto E respectively.
According to Argos, both these devices run on Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box. The listing of the Moto G Titan mentions the device to have a Full HD display but the actual resolution specified is 1280x768 while the non-LTE Moto G features a 1280x720 resolution screen. This could be a mistake, as rest of the specs are similar to the non-LTE model.
The sim-free unlocked pricing for the Moto G Titan and the Moto E Styx is £159.95 and £109.95 respectively. It is quite peculiar that the price of the second generation Moto G on the same site is £10 more expensive than the Titan, but the listing might just be a placeholder till Motorola makes the devices official in the near future.
