Lyft unveils new membership program costing $19.99 per month

Lyft announced today a new membership program with a different subscription pricing approach from its existing All-Access Plan introduced late last year a month prior to Lyft Rewards. Dubbed Lyft Pink, the new program will cost riders $19.99 per month with a 15% discount on all trips.

In addition to the savings available to riders, Lyft Pink offers a number of perks to users including prioritized pickups at select airports especially during peak hours, three free cancellations per month, waived lost and found fees, and three free rides on a bike or scooter for 30 minutes per month.

Bike perks will be available in select areas only including the New York Metro Area, San Francisco Bay Area, and Washington, D.C. In addition, scooter perks are for riders only in Atlanta, Georgia; Austin, Texas; Columbus, Ohio; Denver, Colorado; Dallas, Texas; Los Angeles, California; Miami, Florida; Minneapolis, Minnesota; Nashville, Tennessee; Oakland, California; Phoenix, Arizona; San Antonio, Texas; San Diego and San Jose, California; and Washington, D.C. These perks are on top of other seasonal offerings Lyft may introduce every now and then.

For now, Lyft Pink is only available as an early access program and it will be rolled out in the next few months. Subscription fees will renew automatically every month for those who will subscribe to the program.

Customers can also cancel anytime, provided they do that and book another ride within 15 minutes. You can also pause your subscription once every billing month.
