Apple have made another test update of Mac OS X 10.6.7, better known as "Snow Leopard", available to developers late last night. The build carries the numbering "10J868"; and according to 9to5Mac, Apple is saying the build has "no known issues" but is asking developers to focus on Safari, the Mac App Store, AirPort, Bonjour, SMB, and Graphics Drivers. Apple has yet to confirm a release date for the update.

Mac OS X 10.6.7 will focus on some key areas of their operating system features, including better AirPlay support, Bonjour service, improved Windows file sharing (SMB), and improved graphics drivers. No word on if v10.6.7 patches the Mac App Store vulnerability that allows anyone to download and play games on their computer. The simple exploit became widespread just hours after Apple released v10.6.6.

The Mac App Store follows the highly successful App Store on the iOS platform, which allows mobile users to download and use apps and games on the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. The Mac App Store launched for the Mac OS X platform in January, which now gives desktop users the ability to play games and quickly find applications.

The next big update for Mac OS X is said to be a free upgrade for users. This update weighs in a 992.9 MB for the full disk image and 338.6 MB for the update.
