Along with the launch of The Last of Us Part II at the PlayStation Experience event this weekend, Capcom settled the rumors of a new game in its cross-over fighting series with the announcement of Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite.
Writing on the PlayStation blog, Director of Digital Media and eSports at Capcom Neidel Crisan announced that Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite will not only include single player Arcade, Training and Mission modes, but the new game also features a cinematic Story Mode that "puts players at the center of both universes as they battle for supremacy against powerful forces and a new villain." Capcom is also including online modes with ranked and casual matches, global leaderboards and lobbies with spectator modes.
