May Games with Gold brings Warhammer 40K: Inquisitor - Martyr, Overlord II, and more

Microsoft today unveiled what games Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers can look forward to next month as part of the Games with Gold program.

The May titles members will get for free include the usual four games, which are split between the Xbox One and Xbox 360. The two incoming Xbox 360 games are also part of the old Backward Compatibility program of Microsoft, arriving with native play support on the Xbox One.

Here are the games announced today and their arrival dates for Gold members:

V-Rally 4 (Xbox One, May 1 - 31)

The legendary off-road racing game returns! Enjoy an extreme experience while becoming an expert in a demanding simulation. Take on the challenges of rallies, rallycross, drifts, buggies and hill climbs, and set off on a spectacular journey across every continent.

Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr (Xbox One, May 16 - June 15)

You are an Inquisitor, the Imperium"s most powerful agent. Ensure the Emperor"s will is respected in the far-flung corners of the dark universe of Warhammer 40,000 and uncover the secrets of the fortress-monastery, Martyr. In this action-RPG, choose from amongst several character classes and take part in tactical and violent combat, in solo or co-op mode.

Overlord II (Xbox 360 and Xbox One: May 16 - 31)

Overlord II, sequel to the critically acclaimed cult hit, sees the return of the chaotic Minions and their new Dark Master.

Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members still have several days left to grab any of the Games with Gold titles from April. Currently, Project CARS 2, Knights of Pen and Paper Bundle, and Toybox Turbos are available for claiming.

Moreover on the subscription front, Xbox Game Pass subscribers today received a surprise release in the form of Moving Out. The newly launched indie title is available on both the Xbox One and PC variants of the service.
