May Games with Gold to bring Lego Batman, Tropico 4, and more

Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members have four more games coming at them as subscriber bonuses next month, and Microsoft today revealed the identities these experiences.

The incoming May titles land in the usual fashion. One wave will arrive at the beginning of May and one at the midpoint, with both waves including an Xbox One and an Xbox 360 game each. Moreover, all of them are playable natively on the new Xbox Series X|S consoles thanks to backward compatibility.

Here are the games and the promotion"s active periods:

Armello: Available May 1 to 31 (Xbox One)

Armello is a grim fairy-tale board game come to life. Full of swashbuckling adventure combining deep, tactical card play, rich tabletop strategy and RPG elements. Wage epic single and multiplayer battles, cast spells, hire agents, and prepare poisons and ruses on your quest for the throne!

Dungeons 3: Available May 16 to June 15 (Xbox One)

Through enticing the dark elf priestess Thalya from the fluffy clutches of the surface world to become his chief lieutenant, the Dungeon Lord has found a way to direct his campaign of conquest from the confines of his underground lair. Lego Batman: Available May 1 to 15 (Xbox 360)

The world is changing and Tropico is moving with the times – geographical powers rise and fall and the world market is dominated by new players with new demands and offers -- and you, as El Presidente, face a whole new set of challenges.

For those who missed them, there is still plenty of time left on the April Games with Gold titles before the promotions begin ending. This means Vikings: Wolves of Midgard, Truck Racing Championship, and Hard Corps: Uprising are still available for Gold members to claim.

In other recent Xbox Live Gold news, Microsoft finally rolled out the free-to-play games change that it announced in January. Xbox players now no longer need an Xbox Live Gold subscription to enjoy free-to-play multiplayer games, allowing them complete access to the over 50 free titles on the platform.
