Based on the popular line of action figures from McFarlane Toys, McFarlane"s Evil Prophecy puts you in control of four magical fighters as they battle against the likes of the Werewolf, Voodoo Queen, Frankenstein"s Monster, the Sea Creature, the Mummy, and Dracula to stop the world from entering a time of unending darkness.
Evil Prophecy features a single-player story mode (in which you switch control between the four party members) as well as several multiplayer melee modes that let you play with up to three friends. Unfortunately, the preview build we played was unimpressive as the sluggish and clunky control scheme led to random button mashing, while heated battles were marred by slowdown and frozen screens.
