According to the "Windows Media Update" e-mail, the final release versions of Windows Media Player 9 Series and Movie Maker 2 will be available January 7, 2003.
Not much else is known about these final builds, but I thought I would inform the public about the official release date. Also available on January 7, 2003 will be Microsoft Plus! Digital Media Edition, which delivers exciting new ways to enjoy your photos, music, and home movies with Windows XP. Stay tuned to see if any of these final builds will make their ways to the "net earlier than expected.
