Meditations games launcher will give you a small free game everyday

A new games launcher called Meditations has launched for PC on Windows 7 upwards and macOS. Rami Ismail co-founder of Vlambeer, the team behind Nuclear Throne, announced on Twitter that throughout 2018 he had asked hundreds of small indie developers to make a small five-minute game. Now, in 2019, the launcher is ready and you can receive 24-hour access to a game every day.

The games will consist of small puzzles, platformers or short emotional stories. The first game to be made available is called Tempres and is the game which inspired Rami Ismail to start this project. The idea for the project came after playing Tempres and Rami wishing he could play a different short game every day of the year. Each game will be accompanied by a small morsel of text which will act as meditation, a distraction or lesson for the day.

Whilst this will likely not please those of us who dislike having too many games launchers on our machines, at least the games will be free with Meditations, and we all love free games. The Launcher can be downloaded here.
