Along with its new line of Android handsets, Meizu also debuted a new accessory in the form of its Halo earphones. As you can see, they are far from ordinary and could be just the thing for the occasional raver, dedicated jogger, or anyone else that likes drawing attention to themselves.
The Halo earphones are produced using Corning Fibrance, which is a light-diffusing optical fiber made from unique flexible glass, allowing it to be bent in different directions without breaking. The earphones can maintain an illuminated state for five hours at 50 percent brightness. If you use them without the illumination, you can get about 15 hours of use from a single charge. As far as recharging, it takes about an hour and a half.
The Halo utilize Bluetooth 4.1 with aptX support, has buttons for volume control, call functions, and pairing, along with a switch to turn the illumination on and off. If you want to further customize the brightness of the earphones, you"ll have to do that through the smartphone app. As for availability, they will arrive in blue and red, and will go on sale in China at the end of the month, priced at ¥999.
