Microsoft adds four more games to Xbox One Backward Compatibility

Today, Microsoft added four more titles to the Xbox One Backward Compatibility list. The additions bring it to a grand total of 399 Xbox 360 games that are playable on the Xbox One family of consoles, leaving it one short of its next milestone of 400.

Here"s what"s new today:

Frontlines™: Fuel of War Dedicated Servers will no longer be available for the Microsoft® Xbox 360 after August 31st, 2011. Players can continue to host their own sessions, with a maximum player count of 16.

Features include: True to its arcade form with all-new online modes All 10 original characters and arenas Online versus mode for head-to-head matches Online Room match mode for up to 6 players

While the current list is set to reach its next milestone soon, it"s going to expand by quite a bit later on this year, as Microsoft announced at E3 that it"s going to add support for games that were made for the original Xbox. The only game that we know is coming from this is Crimson Skies, so far.

Also, since we just passed the halfway point in the month, that means that more of this month"s Games with Gold are available for Xbox Live Gold members to claim. Runbow (Xbox One) is available until August 15, and you can grab LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean (Xbox 360) until the end of the month. Finally, Grow Up (Xbox One) is available to claim throughout the month of July.
