Microsoft adds Orcs Must Die and King Of Fighters XIII to Xbox One Backward Compatibility

Following a quiet couple of weeks, two more games have joined Microsoft"s Xbox One Backward Compatibility program today. The company announced that the tower defense title Orcs Must Die! and the fighting game The King of Fighters XIII are the latest Xbox 360 games to join the program, making them both natively playable on the Xbox One family of consoles.

Both games are also directly purchasable from Xbox Marketplace. Here are the store pages and details on the new arrivals.

Orcs Must Die! ($14.99)

As a powerful War Mage with dozens of deadly weapons, spells, and traps at your fingertips, defend twenty-four fortresses from a rampaging mob of beastly enemies, including ogres, hellbats, and of course, a whole bunch of ugly orcs.

The King of Fighters XIII ($29.99)

Consume your enemies with the flames of wrath until they turn into ashes! “THE KING OF FIGHTERS XIII” comes to Xbox 360 as the ultimate versus fighting game, in an upgraded version of the original arcade game!

Also, don"t forget that Microsoft is currently giving away the original Crackdown on Xbox Marketplace to celebrate the imminent release of Crackdown 3. It"s an Xbox 360 game, but since it is also in the Backward Compatibility program, Xbox One players can claim the title and enjoy it for free.

The halfway point of February is fast approaching as well, which means the current Games with Gold will be refreshed with two new titles. Xbox Live Gold members can grab Assassin"s Creed Rogue, Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon, and WRC 6 FIA for free right now.
