Microsoft adds three 2K published games to Xbox One Backward Compatibility

Today arrived the first injection of games to the Xbox One Backward Compatibility program for the month of December, with Microsoft adding three more games to the ever-enlarging roster of Xbox 360 games playable on the Xbox One. The new games arrive from the publisher 2K, them being Duke Nukem Forever, The Darkness, and The Bureau: XCOM Declassified.

The games are all available to purchase via the Xbox Marketplace as well:

Duke Nukem Forever - $19.99

The King is Back! Cocked, loaded and ready for action, Duke Nukem Forever is pure unadulterated fun. Bastard Alien hordes are stealing Earth’s women. But nothing stands between Duke and his babes.

The Darkness - $19.99

On his 21st birthday, the destructive powers of a timeless force known as The Darkness awaken within Jackie Estacado, a hitman for the Franchetti crime family.

The Bureau: XCOM Declassified - $19.99

The year is 1962. JFK is President and the Cold War has the nation gripped by fear – but a far more powerful and insidious enemy than communism is threatening America. Known only to a select few, a top-secret government unit called The Bureau begins investigating and concealing a series of mysterious attacks by an otherworldly enemy.

However, Xbox Live Gold members can pick up the games right now for much cheaper, thanks to a sale dropping each game to $3.99. And speaking of Xbox Live Gold, subscribers shouldn"t forget to grab this month"s Games with Gold, which currently has Q.U.B.E. 2 and Dragon Age 2 for free.
