Earlier this month, Microsoft outlined some features that were coming to OneDrive in November. It would seem that the company isn"t done yet, as it announced even more features that are coming, this time mostly for OneDrive for Business; however, Microsoft doesn"t actually differentiate between OneDrive and OneDrive for Business in its announcements anymore, so it"s hard to tell.
One new feature coming this month - with just a few days left in it - is that you"ll be able to block downloads of files that you share. Not only that, but you"ll be able to block users from making copies of the file, copying text and pasting it into another app, and printing it. You"ll see a toggle in the share dialog.
There are also improvements to MyAnalytics, the feature that lets you see what"s going on with your files. Microsoft says that it"s making improvements so that view counts are accurate, matching the stats that you see on the web. It"s also removing the "File trending" marker. These improvements are also coming before the month is through.
Finally, Camera Upload for OneDrive for Business on Android is now generally available for everyone. It works just like on OneDrive for consumers, automatically uploading your device"s images. The OneDrive app will only allow you to use one account at a time though, so you"ll have to choose between your personal and business account to upload your photos.
