Microsoft is kicking off its Build 2017 developer conference today, where the firm made a number of announcements, such as new Cognitive Services apps, partners for Cortana-powered devices, a Cortana Skills Kit public preview, and more. Along with all of that, there are some new features for Microsoft Graph.
There are a number of new APIs that can be used. The SharePoint site, OneNote, and Planner data APIs are all generally available as of today, so they"re ready for developers to use in a production environment. There are also some new Insights APIs, which will soon be coming to preview, "let developers build smarter processes by leveraging relationships between users and documents."
Aside from APIs, there are new capabilities for the service. Delta queries are exactly what they sound like, and they allow you to look at lists of changes to data. Custom data allows developers to "extend base types" to "store critical data in context."
Microsoft also announced a partnership with Tact, a sales experience platform. The company will be integrating a number of Graph-powered services into its AI-powered sales assistant.
