This year"s CES saw the last keynote speech by Bill Gates as a full-time Microsoft employee. Microsoft"s booth focused on a number of key initiatives this year.
What seems to be the single biggest initiative at Microsoft is Windows Live. Microsoft demonstrated Events for Live Spaces, extensions to Office to support Live within the program, and a full tour of their myriad of updates that came out this past November.
Microsoft also showed off a lot of new Games For Windows titles at their booth as well as announced a bunch of new ones too. Microsoft seems to be genuinely trying to help get gaming going (even if the process is a pain in the butt).
Windows Home Server also received some attention but what surprised us overall was the emphasis on Microsoft Live.
And so we ask our readers at Neowin.net, what do you think of Windows Live? Do you use it? Do you plan to use it? Do you think this is a good direction for Microsoft to be taking? Let us know.
We"ll be back tomorrow with more specifics on Microsoft at CES.
