Since Microsoft launched the Band 2 back in October, the company has been working on expanding the capabilities of the health- and fitness-focused wearable device. It delivered a range of new features to the Band 2 in December - and the prospect of voice interaction with new Volvo cars, along with the possibility of using the device as a gaming controller, hint at just some of the ways that it could improve further in the future.
Of course, everyone loves new features, but for those who haven"t yet committed to buying the device, a good ol" fashioned price cut might just be enough to nudge them in that direction.
In the UK, the Band 2 is usually priced at £199.99, but right now, you can get it with 15% off its usual price - that"s a £30 reduction, bringing it down to £169.99. The discount can be found both on Amazon.co.uk, and the Microsoft Store, where the small print states that it will remain available until February 5.
This isn"t the first time the Band 2 has had a UK price cut, and it"s not even the biggest discount it"s received so far there, but if you"re tempted to buy the device as part of this latest special offer, be sure to check out our review before you do so.
