Microsoft is diversifying its range of Mojis and emoticons in Skype, with a new collection aimed at celebrating "amazing accomplished women in all professions".
As you can see from the example gifs that we included in this article, the new additions are intended to showcase women enjoying their personal and professional lives and leisure activities, and Microsoft says its aim was to showcase "a positive representation of so many of our amazing Skype users".
These Mojis and emoticons are a great connection to our diverse customer population, and I can speak based on my own family and friends. I am excited that the Skype Team is continuing our commitment to recognizing and honoring diversity and inclusion in the creation of our products.
The new "Power Women" Mojis and emoticons will begin rolling out today in the latest versions of the Skype app across all platforms.
