Microsoft will release quite a few new software products later this fall, including the final version of Windows 8.1. Today, the company confirmed that Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013, the next version of its enterprise resource and customer management tools, will be made available sometime this fall as well.
Microsoft"s press release offers up some information on what we can expect with this new version, which will also be released in an online-only format, called Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online Fall "13. It states:
The new release gives people the ability to access their information on a variety of devices; introduces a new user experience that is fast and fluid, enabling people to access information that is relevant to their jobs; and delivers richer contextual information that helps people have deeper insights into customers and their needs. Microsoft Dynamics CRM also offers enhanced social collaboration capabilities, so users can connect with the right people, and the right resources, at the right time.
The new release will also come with new mobile app versions made for Windows 8 tablets and Windows Phone 8 products, along with iOS and Android apps. It will also support Microsoft"s Yammer business social network service and will feature a way to chat via both Skype and Lync. Prior to the final release, the company will make Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013 available as a limited beta.
