Microsoft has been clearing house with its software since the start of the Insider Preview and has already made significant changes, adopting a new visual style for all first party apps, streamlining their app portfolio and unifying their app and content (previously Xbox Music and Video) stores into one.
While international users have often lamented the state of Microsoft products outside US borders, with Cortana still restricted to only a few countries, today"s announcement by Microsoft"s Brandon LeBlanc is sure to please:
Back in June, we turned on the Music page in the Windows Store for Windows Insiders running the latest Windows 10 Insider Preview builds in the U.S., Canada, Ireland, United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand. Starting today (rolling out over the course of the next 24 hours), we’re turning on the Music page in the Store in 17 additional markets: Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Switzerland, Germany, Denmark, Spain, Finland, France, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, and Sweden.
Anyone running Build 10166 for PC or 10149 for Windows Mobile can access the Music page in the Windows store, while access to the Movies & TV page within the Windows Store is only being granted to users in Brazil, for the moment.
