Microsoft"s temporary holiday stores will open their doors on Oct. 26, the same day Windows 8 launches and the Windows RT version of Surface is released.
Last month, the company announced more than 30 temporary stores would open at various locations in the United States and Canada, although no additional information was given beyond the locations. While the company still hasn"t made an announcement for the opening days for each store, pages for each on the Microsoft Store website all state they"re opening Oct. 26.
A page for the Frisco, Texas, store, for instance, has the following message posted:
Last week it was announced two of Microsoft"s permanent stores – located in San Juan and Cincinnati – will open in November. Additionally, the company also launched four new permanent Microsoft Stores – two in New York, one in New Hampshire and one in Delaware – last week as well.
