Microsoft introduces two new flavors of Microsoft 365

Back in July, Microsoft introduced Microsoft 365, a subscription service that combines Office 365 and Windows 10 plans. It came in two different versions: Enterprise and Business, with the latter priced at $20 per month per user and the former aimed at larger organizations.

But at the firm"s Ignite 2017 conference today, it announced two new flavors: F1 and Education. Microsoft 365 F1 combines Office 365 F1, Windows 10, and Enterprise Mobility + Security, and it"s "designed to maximize the impact of the Firstline Worker." These are the employees that are going to be the first to engage with customers.

Part of this is a range of new Windows 10 S devices, updates to Windows 10 that include "the deployment and management of remote devices and configuring locked down single purpose experiences", and enhancements to Microsoft StaffHub.

Microsoft 365 Education is geared toward, you guessed it, the educational market. It includes Office 365 for Education, Windows 10, Enterprise Mobility + Security, and Minecraft: Education Edition.

The company has not yet announced any pricing for the new plans, but it will likely do so soon.
