Microsoft is making Pride Type Covers for Surface PCs

Commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots, Microsoft is producing new Type Covers and skins for its Surface PCs and celebrating the Pride community. While the company hasn"t announced the new accessories just yet, leakster WalkingCat has discovered a video showing them off.

The video shows a Type Cover that says "Pride" in the traditional rainbow colors, and a skin with the multicolored stripes.

Naturally, things like pricing and availability are unconfirmed, so if you want to get your hands on them, you"ll have to wait. The PCs shown in the video are from the Surface Pro lineup, so it"s also not clear if there will be variants of the Type Cover for the Surface Go, or if there will be variants of the skin for other Surface PCs.

The anniversary of the Stonewall Riots is on June 28, so it seems likely that we"ll learn more about Microsoft"s plans for these accessories closer to that date.
