Last week, Microsoft was offering a free Type Cover keyboard, worth $129.99, with its Surface 3 tablet in the United States. That promotion ended on Sunday - but now, the company is hoping to entice buyers with another deal on the Windows 10 device.
The Microsoft Store is now offering $150 off the two 128GB models in its Surface 3 range. As a result, this has introduced a curious pricing quirk, in which the higher-end models currently cost $50 less than their 64GB counterparts.
Model | Regular price | Current price |
Wi-Fi only | ||
64GB / 2GB RAM | $499 | $499 |
128GB / 4GB RAM | $599 | $449 |
Wi-Fi + 4G LTE | ||
64GB / 2GB RAM | $599 | $599 |
128GB / 4GB RAM | $699 | $549 |
You"ll have to buy the Type Cover separately now that the previous offer has ended - but as always, the Surface 3 still comes with a free one-year Office 365 Personal subscription, worth $69.99.
But if you"re planning to take advantage of this latest discount, you"ll have to act quickly - it will only be available until tomorrow, January 21.
