Microsoft is offering 30% off HP's ultra-wide ENVY 34 Media Display; now $699

Last month, Microsoft offered some significant discounts on a selection of HP monitors, including the ENVY 34 Media Display. The 34-inch monitor is usually priced at $999, but it was available last month with $200 off that amount.

Now, the Microsoft Store is offering even greater savings on the ENVY 34, with 30% off its full price, reducing its cost by $300, to $699.

Along with WQHD (3440x1440px) resolution, the display has dual 6-watt speakers and supports a Picture-by-Picture mode to take advantage of its 21:9 aspect ratio. It features numerous ports, including DisplayPort, two HDMI (one of which is also an MHL input), and three USB 3.0 (two downstream ports with BC1.2 battery charging capability, one upstream port to the PC).

In addition to a power cable, the ENVY 34 comes with DisplayPort, HDMI, MHL and USB 3.0 cables in the box.
