Microsoft is releasing a Modern Keyboard with Fingerprint ID

According to a listing in the Microsoft Store (spotted by Windows Central), the company will be releasing a new product called the Modern Keyboard with Fingerprint ID. Coming in at $129.99, the big feature is the fingerprint sensor that can be seen above...

...and that"s mainly because this product is nearly identical to the Surface Keyboard that launched alongside the Surface Studio. While the full specs of the accessory haven"t been revealed just yet, another improvement seems to be that users will have a choice between using it wired or wirelessly.

But that"s not all, as there"s also a listing for the Modern Mouse. Priced identically to the Surface Mouse at $49.99, it seems to be nothing more than a rebranded accessory; however, as with the Modern Keyboard, not all of the specs have been revealed.

Both of the new accessories are listed as coming soon in the Microsoft Store, and there are no pre-orders open or release dates just yet. Of course, we"ll keep you updated as we learn more about these products.
