Microsoft is rolling out the Windows 10 Team 2020 Update in Germany and the Netherlands

While Microsoft first announced the Windows 10 Team 2020 Update in October, it actually paused the update in December due to some issues, finally posting a new update in January. Now, things appear to be back on track, according to a new announcement.

As of today, the Windows 10 Team 2020 Update is rolling out to Surface Hub 2S users in Germany and the Netherlands. The plan is still for it to be released globally on February 23, specifically for Surface Hub 2S users. You can also now get a Bare Metal Recovery image from the Surface Recovery page.

As for users of the original Surface Hub, Microsoft says that it remains committed to releasing the update later this month, and "details will be provided closer to the release date". It"s an interesting language to use, since we"re only nine days away from the end of February.

Finally, the team noted that support for Edge Legacy is ending on March 9, 2021, so it"s recommending that you upgrade to Edge Chromium sooner rather than later. However, Edge Chromium is actually included in the 2020 Update, along with side-by-side inking for two pens at the same time, Coordinated Meetings that let you switch between Surface Hub and Teams Rooms devices, and more.

It"s also worth noting that the previous Windows 10 Team update, version 1703, will no longer be supported after March 16.
