Microsoft is officially joining in the already crowded online sale deals market via a new part of its Bing search service. Today, the company unveiled Bing Offers for U.S. residents, which it claims offers "one of the largest collection of local deals on the web."
The Bing blog has the details on the new service, which it claims collects the best deals from a number of sources, including many local sales providers. It states, "You no longer need to browse through different websites, manage multiple sign-ups or sift-through your inbox. Bing Offers aggregates popular deals across the US to help you discover great deals at the right time and place."
Bing Offers also allows users to search for specifc deals via different categories, businesses or keywords and claims it works seamlessly with PCs, smartphone and tablets. The deal choices can be arranged on the website to find the best ones that are closest to a person"s specific location, along with choices of the newest deals and the ones that are due to expire soon. You can also subscribe to receive special emails from Bing Offers when new local deals go live. There"s no word when Bing Offers will be made available for other parts of the world.
