Microsoft launches Windows Store Partner Directory website

As we get closer to Microsoft"s BUILD 2013 developer conference next week, the company is revealing more services that it is making public to Windows 8 app developers. Today, Microsoft announced the launch of the new Window Store Partner Directory website, designed to give app makers a quick any easy way to get to the resources needed to make and publish their creations.

As explained on the Windows App Builder blog, the new site should make it easier for app developers to get to the kinds of information and software they need, whether it"s a download for an SDK or finding an ad network for an app"s banner adds. The blog says:

We’ve created a unique place with simple navigation where anyone can see what partners and services are available for Windows Store apps. These partners – 1st or 3rd party – cover services from advertising to design. Services such as payment providers and push/notifications take advantage of Windows’ unique features like Live tiles and 3rd party transactions.

The blog adds that Microsoft will be adding more partners and service links to the website in the coming months, along with a way for the Windows 8 app developer community to post comments and interact with each other on the site.
