Today, Microsoft announced that Lists home will be rolling out to Microsoft 365 customers this month. Lists home, as it"s called for some reason, is the web app, as there will be a Microsoft Lists iOS app coming later this year. The firm didn"t say anything about the Android version. Note that Lists home is not being offered to the Microsoft 365 SKU formerly known as Office 365 Home; this is for businesses only.
Microsoft Lists does exactly what it sounds like, but it"s a much more robust service than something like Microsoft To-Do. This is more along the lines of competing with Trello. You can do things like track issues, assets, tasks, routines, projects, and so on. You can use rules and customizable views to keep track of everything as well.
Lists was originally announced back in May at Microsoft"s virtual Build conference, and you"ll be able to access it through the Microsoft 365 portal. From there, you can create a new list from scratch, or you can use a template. And as you"d expect, there"s integration with Microsoft Teams, the company"s one-stop-shop for workplace collaboration.
Look for Lists home to start rolling out soon. While the firm only promised an iOS app later this year, it did mention that it would be coming for Android back when it first announced the product.
