A few weeks ago, when the Lumia 930 launched in the UK, Microsoft sweetened the deal for early buyers with a free "wireless bundle", which originally included a DC-50 Portable Wireless Charger, MD-12 Portable Wireless Speaker and a £20 voucher for the Windows Phone Store.
Along with the free wireless desktop charger included with all Lumia 930s, the total value of all the freebies included with the handset amounted to around £130. There were some problems though - stocks of the wireless bundle were extremely limited, and many buyers that purchased a Lumia 930 before the introductory offer expired complained of being unable to claim their free gifts.
But for those considering a Lumia 930, there is good news. In a post on its blog today, retailer Clove.co.uk says that Microsoft has reintroduced the offer of the free wireless bundle "so all new UK orders will now be eligible to receive this bundle."
UPDATE: Microsoft has clarified that the new wireless bundle will not include the £20 Windows Phone Store voucher that was part of the original promotion. Microsoft has now also posted a page with information about the offer, which states that the wireless bundle will be available to anyone ordering the Lumia 930 from today through to November 30.
The Lumia 930 is now available for under £400 off-contract, as Microsoft"s UK website shows. The on-contract price has also been reduced since the device was launched; initially, the Lumia 930 was available free on contracts priced around £33 or more, but it can now be picked up with no up-front charges on contracts costing £26.50 a month.
The Lumia 930"s key specs include:
- 5-inch ClearBlack Full HD (1920x1080px) OLED with Gorilla Glass 3
- Quad-core 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800
- 2GB RAM
- 32GB onboard storage
- 20MP PureView rear camera with optical image stabilization (OIS)
- 1.2MP wide-angle front-facing camera
- NFC, Bluetooth 4.0
- 2420mAh battery
- 137 x 71 x 9.8mm; 167g
