Microsoft may announce Xbox One X pre-order details on August 17

The Xbox One X was first unveiled by Microsoft at E3 2017, back in June, packed with high-end specifications and dubbed the "most powerful console ever". Back then, the company announced that the console will be available worldwide starting November 7, priced at $499/£449/€499.

Last month, Phil Spencer, head of Xbox, responded to a fan"s question on Twitter stating that "landing the announce with all the info" about Xbox One X pre-orders "won"t be too much longer". Also, in another tweet, Spencer hinted that the console could be bundled with a 4K TV purchase.

Earlier today, Spencer took to Twitter again to answer another fan"s question and stated that more information about the Xbox One X pre-orders will be shared tomorrow, August 17.

It is unclear why Microsoft planned to announce the pre-order details tomorrow, but it will certainly be a relief for those fans who want to get their hands on the console as soon as it launches. And not only are fans excited about the console"s launch, but also developers. Until last month, 80 games were already expected to have Xbox One X Enhanced support at launch.
