Microsoft is expected to roll out Windows 10 version 2004 update soon. The company has been working on the update for more than a year and recently pushed it to Windows Insiders on Release Preview Ring.
Earlier this month, Mary Jo Foley of ZDNet reported that version 2004 could start rolling out to Windows 10 users on 28th May. Now, a new blog post may have revealed the possible rollout dates of Windows 10 version 2004. Just a couple of days ago, Microsoft updated the Driver Shiproom Schedule for 2020 which marks 26th, 27th, and 28th May 2020 as dates reserved for the Feature updates.
Microsoft publishes the Driver Shiproom Schedule for manufacturers to ensure they don"t release driver updates a day before or after feature updates and Patch Tuesday updates. This is done to avoid any conflicts between the updates and increases the reliability of the updates.
This schedule does not necessarily suggest the final release date and just serves as a guide to the manufacturers to not release drivers updates. However, it"s worth noting that the 2019 Driver Shiproom schedule had set aside 21st, 22nd and 23rd May 2019 for version 1903 update which was eventually released on 21st May 2019.
