Microsoft offering $50 off Xbox One with Kinect

Last month, Microsoft cut the price of its Xbox One bundles to $349 after briefly increasing the price following discounts over the festive season. However, the $349 bundles do not include the Kinect sensor, but Microsoft today announced a special promotion for those who would prefer the console with Kinect included.

From February 8 through to February 21, Xbox One with Kinect will cost $449, a savings of $50 off the regular retail price of the console and sensor.

The promotion is exclusive to the U.S., and will be available through "most national retailers, including Amazon, Best Buy, GameStop, Target, Toys R Us and Walmart, as well as Microsoft Stores."

If you favor the cheaper Kinect-free Xbox One, those discounted bundles are still available. Major Nelson (Microsoft"s Larry Hyrb, director of programming for Xbox) reiterated today that the $349 price is only available as a limited-time offer, although the company hasn"t yet set a final end-date.
