Microsoft offers free rubberized grips and free shipping with Xbox Design Lab controllers

Last June, Microsoft announced the Xbox Design Lab, enabling gamers to design their controllers, with over a billion color combinations available. After launching in European markets a year later, Microsoft is now hoping to entice more buyers to purchase their own customized controllers.

Until July 10, it"s offering free rubberized grips with each controller purchased from the Xbox Design Lab, which would usually cost an additional $5.99. It"s also offering free shipping with every order from the Design Lab.

As Graeme Boyd, social marketing manager for Xbox, pointed out, the offer is available not just in the United States, but in the UK, France and Germany too:

This - PLUS free shipping - also applies in the UK, France and Germany. Great time to design your very own Xbox controller! ?? https://t.co/pJeeraj9sQ

You can design your own controller on the Xbox Design Lab site, as well as being able to view some of the controllers already designed and purchased by other Xbox gamers. However, be aware that Microsoft warns buyers: "Due to the customized nature of Xbox Design Lab, you cannot cancel or modify your order once it is placed."
