Microsoft posts video showcasing the Delta Airlines and Surface 2 connection

Delta Airlines has adopted modern Microsoft technologies over the past few months, starting with the Nokia Lumia 820 phones for flight attendants and the Surface 2 tablets for pilots.

Microsoft"s Surface team has now posted a video on YouTube which details Delta"s plans of implementing new technologies and how Surface 2 tablets will prove beneficial for them in the long run. 

11,000 pilots across Boeing 757 and 767 fleets will be given electronic flight bags and the operation to have paperless cockpits is expected to complete by the end of 2014.
