Next week, Microsoft will hold its annual developer conference in San Francisco, and it promises to be quite an intriguing few days for those with a keen interest in the company"s platforms and products.
The event will take place from March 30 to April 1, and today, Microsoft published its full list of sessions for the conference, which it hopes will engage, excite and delight developers who each paid $2,195 for the privilege of attending.
The main keynote will be held at 0830 PT on March 30, at which the company is expected to make its biggest announcements of the event. But in the hours and days after that keynote, further details and insights will no doubt be revealed into the company"s plans for Windows 10, Xbox One, the Universal Windows Platform, HoloLens, and much more.
Tickets for Build 2016 sold out in record time, with the full allocation for this year"s event being snapped up within less than a minute. However, attendees won"t have a hardware giveaway to look forward to this year - in previous years, those who attended were given free devices, such as a Surface Pro tablet, Xbox One and other goodies, but Microsoft said that it has decided not to give away free hardware this year, "in favor of delivering a deeper technical experience for developers".
Neowin will be at Build 2016 to closely follow the announcements and insights revealed at the conference, and we"ll also be bringing you live streams from Build, to ensure that you don"t miss the biggest developments from the event - so stay tuned.
