In mid-February, Microsoft launched the Lumia 650, a low-end Windows 10 Mobile handset in a premium, metal-framed body. In the UK, it went on sale for £159.99 SIM-free, but by the end of May, it was available from major retailers like Amazon and Carphone Warehouse for as little as £129.99.
In July, Microsoft permanently cut the price of the handset by 25%, bringing it down to £119.99. Today, just over eight weeks later, it trimmed a further 9% off its price, reducing it by £10.99 to £109.
The Lumia 650"s key specs include:

- 4G LTE connectivity (bands 1, 3, 7, 8 and 20)

- microUSB 2.0 with Type B connector
- Removable 2000mAh battery
- 142 x 71 x 6.9mm; 122g

The 650 wasn"t the only Windows 10 Mobile device to get a reduction in the UK today. For the third time this year, Microsoft permanently cut the prices of its Lumia 950 and 950 XL flagships, by 22% and 15% respectively.
