With less than four weeks to go before the Xbox One is scheduled to launch on Nov. 22, a new rash of Internet rumors have started popping up claiming that the software is still not ready for prime time. However, those rumors have been met with denials by Microsoft Xbox team members via Twitter.
One such rumor was posted on a blog called Dodd Scientifics, which claims to have received information from developers about the Xbox One. They allegedly state, among other things, that they have encountered issues such as "parties dropping people when moving from one thing to another" along with connectivity problems, friend requests not going through and more. The post claims that the problems are so bad it could take Microsoft months to fix them.
We emailed Microsoft to comment on this blog post but have yet to hear back from a company representative. However, other Microsoft team members are not shy about commenting on these rumors. One is Microsoft Games Studios head Phil Spencer, who posted this message today:
@XBO_Truth Games are in certification now and we are playing SP & MP nightly. Anyone can post "stuff" to the web.

Xbox Live head of programming Larry Hryb also indirectly addressed the rumors, stating:
@Morgasm98 You should ask the COD folks about their game. As far as Xbox One, I"ve been testing the OS at home it"s been great.

Microsoft has already announced it will provide an automatic Day One patch for the Xbox One that will take 15 to 20 minutes to download. However, the company has yet to give any details of what will be contained in the patch.
