Today, Microsoft released Windows 10 build 18362.10024 to the Slow ring. From the 19H2 branch, it only includes the fixes that were included with the latest cumulative update for Windows 10 version 1903.
The reason that this update had to take place is because the Slow ring is on a different version of 19H2 than the Release Preview ring. Release Preview is on build 18363, which is the same as build 18362 but with an enablement package to light up 19H2. Because of that, you get the same cumulative updates, whether you"re on version 1903 or 1909 (19H2). The Slow ring is still on build 18362, so it requires a separate update.
Microsoft announced last week that build 18363.418 is likely to be the final build for 19H2 that will roll out to non-Insiders as the Windows 10 November 2019 Update. But while that build is on the Release Preview ring, it"s unclear how the Slow ring will get back on track. It"s not as simple as adding the enablement package, because that would still leave users with a much higher build revision number than actual 19H2 PCs.
It"s possible that a full build would be released to the Slow ring, before it"s moved on to 20H1 testing. Microsoft already confirmed that that testing will begin soon.
