Today, Microsoft announced three more of its custom designs for its Xbox Wireless Controllers, including Green/Grey, Volcano Shadow Special Edition, and Patrol Tech Special Edition, all of which can be seen in the image above.
The creatively-named Green/Grey controller "features a sleek, two-tone grey design with eye-catching green accents at the base of the thumbsticks." Priced at $64.99, it will begin shipping on August 3, and you can pre-order it from the Microsoft Store now.
And then there are the two Special Edition models, which will both cost $69.99. The Volcano Shadow version is the latest from the "Shadow" line, and "features a matte black top case and sides that fade to a fiery red metallic finish." Like the Green/Grey one, it will be available on August 3. Finally, the Patrol Tech edition "is inspired by military technology and performance patterns found in airborne navy patrol units, and will be coming on September 5.
You can also pre-order both the Volcano Shadow and Patrol Tech Special Editions from the Microsoft Store; however, you"ll notice that none of the shipping dates for the three controllers match up to the announcement. According to the website, Green/Grey is slated to ship on September 5, with Volcano Shadow coming on September 18 and Patrol Tech shipping on September 26.
Finally, Microsoft also announced a new Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows 10, which should be 66% smaller than the original. The company promises the ability to connect up to eight controllers at once, and it will be available for $24.99 on August 8, along with a $79.99 bundle that includes an Xbox Wireless Controller.
