Microsoft rolls out dual SIM support to Your Phone app for Windows Insiders

Microsoft released a fresh update today to Your Phone for Windows Insiders, bringing dual-SIM support to the app. That means it will now allow you to use both SIM cards in your device to send and receive messages through the Your Phone app on your PC.

Analy Otero Diaz, Microsoft"s Senior Program Manager Lead, announced the new update via Twitter. There"s no word, though, on when this capability will arrive for general users.

#WindowsInsiders we have started rollout of a new feature for #YourPhone - Dual SIM support for messaging! So if you have a phone with multiple SIM cards now you can send and receive messages from both of them from your PC.

The dual-SIM support is only the latest in a steady stream of improvements received by the app from Microsoft in recent times. Earlier this month, Your Phone"s notification sync feature from Windows 10 went live for all Android users. Prior to that, the app also received the ability to send and receive MMS messages and the option to save photos directly to the PC.

With the newest update, Your Phone is increasingly becoming a major part of Microsoft"s efforts to streamline its products across platforms.
