Microsoft shows us more of Surface dancing schoolgirls

The first TV ad for the Surface tablet from Microsoft was highly energetic. One of the commercial"s highlights was the dancing girls in Catholic schoolgirl outfits.

Microsoft has now released an extended clip of that same commercial posted on YouTube. The clip shows the girls, along with some boys in 1980"s break dancing outfits, kicking it old school while holding the new Surface tablet.

The first commercial for Surface has already been called the most effective one made for a tablet product this year by one company. Certainly the first sales out of the gate for Microsoft"s Windows RT tablet have to be encouraging.

The big question now is, "Can Microsoft keep the momentum of the Surface going?" The launch of Apple"s iPad mini this week, along with the announcement of the new Nexus 10 tablet from Google, is making the tablet market even more crowded than ever. It"s going to be interesting to see if Microsoft can continue to keep the public interested in Surface, especially since the Windows RT version lacks the massive app library that Apple and Google currently have.
