Microsoft has slashed the price of HP"s Elite x3 and Desk Dock by $200 (25%) in the United States. Usually priced at $799, the bundle is now available for $599 from the Microsoft Store, in a special offer that will continue for the next three weeks, ending on March 31.

An updated version of the Elite x3 made a very brief appearance at last week"s Mobile World Congress, along with a larger version of HP"s Lap Dock accessory, which supports Windows 10 Mobile"s PC-like Continuum experience on the go. HP hasn"t yet made any announcements regarding its plans for either of those refreshed devices.
