Microsoft has added the Razer Phone 2 to its lineup of Android handsets that it has for sale. The device can be pre-ordered for $799.99, and it will release on October 22. Oddly, the firm is still selling the original Razer Phone for its original price of $699.99, while it was discounted by a couple of hundred dollars for weeks previously.
Razer announced its new flagship gaming handset last week, with a number of improvements. It now has a glass back, so it can support wireless charging, and it has a Chroma RGB logo on the back. The lighting can be customized, and it will also change colors according to notifications that are received.
Audio, video, and performance have all been improved as well. The front-facing speakers are now waterproof, and despite that, they sound even better. The display has improved HDR as well, on top of the 120Hz refresh rate. And of course, the chipset has been bumped up to a Snapdragon 845.

Samsung"s Galaxy Note9 also showed up on the Microsoft Store, which is good news as the selection was getting a bit stale, with just the Razer Phone, Note9, and Galaxy S9. That can be yours for $999 for the 128Gb model, or $1,249 for the 512GB model which is out of stock.
