Microsoft is busy upgrading its "chat-based workspace" tool, Teams, ever since the launch of the app. Recently, the firm updated the app with third party cloud-storage services support and classroom experiences. The application has received another update for Android devices, adding a bunch of new features including HD audio and video call support.
With the latest update, users will finally be able to join meetings in the video as well as audio calls right from their smartphones, which has been lacking for Android until now. The addition of this feature will be really helpful for people on the go. The update also brings the in-app preview of shared images, saving the users from the nuisance created by navigating to phone"s gallery for viewing those pictures.
Moreover, Microsoft has also addressed the issues regarding the grouping of notifications. Previously, the notifications used to fill the notification center without properly getting grouped. Now, the notifications will get grouped together to reduce the clutter. There are few other regular performance improvements and bug fixes as well.
The complete changelog of the update is as follows:
Join your meetings with HD audio and video, and view shared content
Notifications are now grouped to reduce clutter
Preview images within the app
Bug fixes and performance improvements
Interested folks can get the updated app from the Google Play Store.
