Microsoft Teams for iOS adds Whiteboard collaboration support, new icon and more

Microsoft has been busy introducing a new look to some of its services including the new Office icons which are now available to Office 365 customers on Windows, mobile, and the web, with plans to roll them out to the UWP apps. Today, Microsoft Teams for iOS has received the same treatment and a bunch of new features to boot.

In addition to its new icon, Teams also now allows you to collaborate on a Microsoft Whiteboard during a meeting, view trending messages in your Activity feed, and gain access to the "What"s New in Teams" section from within the app. Additionally, the iOS app has added a new capability to "Call me" in meetings so that it will remember your number for quick re-dialing.

On top of those features, new language support has been added for Hindi, Filipino, Bengali, and Telugu. As usual, bug fixes and performance improvements are in tow as well.

Last month, Teams also received a few capabilities on iOS focused on improved user experience during a meeting. The latest update bumps up Teams" version to 1.0.72 and it is now available to download from the App Store.
